How Paw Plans uses cookies and storage
Essential and preference storage
Paw Plans uses browser storage to remember your cookie choice and to prevent the optional exit message from appearing repeatedly. These functions support the operation and usability of the website.

Purpose: remembers whether analytics was accepted or rejected.
Typical duration: up to 180 days.

Type: session and local storage
Purpose: limits repeated display of the exit message.
Typical duration: the browsing session, or up to three days after dismissal.
Optional analytics cookies
If you select “Accept analytics”, Paw Plans loads Google Analytics. Google Analytics may use cookies such as _ga and _ga_<container-id> to distinguish browsers and measure website use. These cookies may remain for up to two years, subject to Google’s settings and policies.
Analytics helps us understand which pages are useful, how visitors move through the website, broad device categories and technical performance. We do not load Google Analytics until consent has been recorded.
Affiliate tracking
Paw Plans may add a referral identifier to an outbound affiliate link. When you click it, the destination website may set its own cookies or similar identifiers to attribute a quotation, purchase or other qualifying action. Those technologies are controlled by the third party and are covered by its cookie and privacy policies.
Simply reading a Paw Plans page does not cause a third-party insurance provider to receive information from a quote form, because quotation forms are hosted by the relevant third party.
Your cookie choices
You can accept or reject optional analytics in the Paw Plans cookie notice. Rejecting analytics does not prevent you from reading the guides or following ordinary links.
You can also delete or block cookies and site data through your browser settings. Blocking all storage may affect preference features, but the main editorial content should remain available.
Withdrawing consent
You can change your analytics choice at any time by using the button above. Choosing “Reject analytics” stops future Google Analytics loading on this browser. You can also clear existing analytics cookies using your browser controls.
Third-party services
External websites may use different cookies once you visit them. Paw Plans cannot control those cookies. Review the destination’s cookie notice before entering personal information.
